The last time a home team lost game 7 of the Finals was 1978

And the Warriors have a better home record than any game 7 host before them, with the highest average margin of victory at home in league history.

It's gonna be the tallest of tasks for the Cavs.

Exactly this is over. Kyrie won't be able to handle the pressure and Lebron will just be running to refs crying like he always do. That team is a joke and acts like South American soccer players

They also lost their best rim protection and their best LeBron defender has back issues. AND LeBron looks like he found his outside shot again.

Cavs definitely have their work cut out for them, but they have a very legitimate chance to pull it off.

And a team down 3-1 hasn't forced a game 7 since the 60s. Your point? I think either team can win at this point.

GS didn't have Draymond in game 5, otherwise this thing is probably over already.

Lol wut?

The Cavs won 2 straight games with one of them being in Oakland with Lebron being a beast. They're going to look at this and play it as just another road game.

Doesn't matter if it's a preseason road game or finals game 7 on the road. Same court of basketball with same rules and same players.

Yeah but it's all rigged. LeBron getting his Cleveland redemption and bringing the long suffering city their first modern sports title against one of the greatest teams ever is a better story. tScript

If game 7 is officiated like game 6, the refs might die in Oakland.

Bullets had lost the 1971 and 1975 championships. Big thing was Elvin Hayes couldn't win the big one. Bullets rallied from a 3-2 deficit to win series in 7. Hayes fouled out pretty early in the game so he still got some heat. That 1978 Game 7 features Dennis Johnson shooting 0/14 from the field. He rebounded okay and won titles in 1979, 1981, 1984 and 1986.

I hope it's a different Warriors team. They looked bad tonight. Not composed and looked rattled. They better start making their shots and get out too a good lead. The Bronalds have all the momentum.
