At home on Dec. 8, his numbers were a staggering 78 points and 43 rebounds against the Lakers, breaking the single-game scoring record then held by Elgin Baylor (71).
In a home game against the Chicago Packers on Jan. 13, he put up 73 points and 36 rebounds against Rookie of the Year and eventual Hall of Famer Walt Bellamy

Feb. 2, 1968 as the single best game of Wilt's career. He scored 25 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and dealt out 21 assists for the only double triple-double in NBA history.

Consider that after Wilt's 50.4 mark for the 1961-62 season, the second-highest scoring averaged in NBA history by a player not named Chamberlain was Elgin Baylor's 38.3 in the same year. That makes Wilt's number 31.6 percent higher than Jordan.

When the topic of all-time greatest player was once raised, none other than the legendary Larry Bird didn't hesitate.
"Open up the record book and it will be obvious who the greatest is," he said.

Super teams are great for the league Bc They are so polarising Interest is sky high and the warriors and the super team heat before that played massive roles. On a personal level I'm not a fan but that's just bc I would rather beat the best than team up with them. I know the millennials ie Lebron feel different about that.

Rodman was a great signing and fit what they needed to a tee, but he was risky as hell too and hardly a top 5-10 player. Everyone else (Kukoc/Armstrong/Grant) was drafted by the Bulls as well.

I'd agree but the current incarnation of the Warriors is beyond Superteam or anything we've seen before it. No one is touching them healthy. Those other teams were beatable. This team is so stacked it almost renders a season pointless. Miami got beat twice and could have easily been three. The Celtics team won one title. Everyone's basically hoping for injury or waiting a year or two for some of their core to "get theirs" and cash out.
