The GOAT is not happy with NBA 'superteams'

NBA Hall of Famer and Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan isn't a fan of the NBA's so-called superteam era.
"I think it's going to hurt the overall aspect of the league from a competitive standpoint," Jordan said in an interview with Cigar Aficionado magazine. "You're going to have one or two teams that are going to be great, and another 28 teams that are going to be garbage. Or they're going to have a tough time surviving in the business environment."
It's understandable that, as an owner, Jordan is concerned about the league's competitive balance. Jordan's Hornets have made it out of the first round of the playoffs just twice since the 2000-2001 season.
Pure envy. I think this year is going to be one of the better regular seasons in a while.

Anyone else find it random he was speaking about super teams to Cigar Aficionado? I dunno what that has to do with Rocky Patel or Ashton.

Wait, how can the GOAT be unhappy with NBA superteams when he's played on TWO of them and elevated what the Boston Big 3 started? Oh we must be referring to another person that people think is the GOAT though there are multiple players with better resumes. Hmmm

His mindset is the same as probably 20 others teams in the league. It really does suck going into a season KNOWING, not thinking, knowing...that only like 3 or 4 teams actually have a realistic shot at winning the title. If that.

Bill and Kareem are the only two who can really stake claim to the better resume narrative.
Everyone else are streets behind.

Wilt doesn't even sniff a GOAT argument.

Bill Russell owned Wilt.

Gee, I mean he was only All-NBA 10x in 14 seasons, 4x league MVP, led 2 separate franchises to NBA titles, 7x scoring champ, 11x rebounding champ, led the league in assists one year, 2x All-Defense first-team, his no. 13 retired by 3 separate franchises, NBA 35th Anniversary all-time team, NBA 50 all-time team, a 30-22-4 career statline average on 54% shooting, the single-game scoring record, the single-game rebounding record, greatest single-season scoring average, greatest single-season rebound average, the most dominant player of his era by the WIDEST MARGIN of ALL-TIME(if we wanna argue his advanced stats), reportedly 50 inch vertical leap, and primarily responsible for numerous rules changes such as offensive goaltending and widening the lane. I honestly don't know how one can make a better GOAT argument than the one I just presented, basically the equivalent of how Jim Brown dominated the game of football when he played by such a vast margin.

You mean the Celtics TEAM owned Wilt: Cousy, Jones, Heinsohn, Sanders and Co weren't playing with Wilt nor was Red Auerbach coaching him
