I don't understand why you are saying that Roger has more topspin. Nadal has a higher topspin average, and a higher top spin RPM ceiling. so he is arguing that Rogers's ball explodes more???

Every one knows Roger has a lot more variability. He can do anything he wants with the ball. And everyone knows Rafas backhand slice is kind of sucky and Rgers slice backhand is wicked.

So no the article isn't disproving that Rafa has more topspin. That isn't a myth, he actually measured it.

Yeah, this wouldn't even be close. Serena would probably lose to most of the top level men's college players. Top 300 men's players would all beat Serena. Top 5 men's singles players would absolutely destroy her and likely she may get a game or two simply because they let up and toy with her.

K. Anderson takes the first against Berdych

Gasquet was down 4-5 and facing triple set points, wins the second set 7-5

Tomic takes the third, pretty good match and I'm the only one watching

Gasquet won 13 more points than Tomic, loses in 4 . Dude sucked on the "big" points except for the saved triple set pts

Novak should be afraid. My boy Juan Martin is coming for him.

I didn't realize he'll draw Ferrer after his next match. He hasn't fared too well against Ferrer in the past, so I'm pulling for Dolgo here. Delpo owns Dolgo

Delpo will do fine against Ferrer.

My girl Monica to the round of 16 against Sloan Stephens. Should be a match of peaking at the future of women's tennis.
It can go either way. I think Sloan has a better serve, but I give the mental edge to Monica.

Re: the men. I don't think anyone is going to stop the Andy train this year. But I'm hoping tor a Delpo vs Murray final.

Ok, the best day in tennis is tomorrow with all round of 16 matches in play.
- I would love to see old man Haas give Novak a run.
- Youzhny played well at the tune up in Germany and I think could give Murray some fits.
- Berdych/Tomic is very interesting. I love what I saw from Tomic last week, but Berdych can blow you off the court anytime.
- Hopefully, whatever slip Delpo apparently had at the end of his last match doesn't hurt him.
- Poland has two men in the round of 16. I want to see Janowicz in the semis. He dismantled Almagro last round.
- Lisicki has thunder thighs and snaggleteeth, but I still dig her. She is the last chance at giving Serena any kind of competitive match.

Yes it was. I watched a good bit of that and really enjoyed it. Nice contrast in styles and Keys seems like she has a bright future.

It is too bad that the state of American men's tennis isn't as good as that of our women's tennis.

I just realized Federer lost in the second round. Had absolutely no idea. Thanks for the lack of a text update, ESPN. You tell me when LeBron wipes his arse but not when the GOAT loses in the second round?
