Good point and an upvote for you.

Sorry, Auburn Panthers . . . you lost and you embarrassed yourselves too.

People make fun of A&M but Auburn is very cult-ish as well.

It comes from being Alabama's little brother. Everyone has to stick together.

I agree, LSU really hates him.

LSU hasn't had a Heisman, NC winning QB be the #1 overall pick and NFL MVP so you couldn't possibly understand. That said, LSU fans do the same thing with Mettenberger, PP7, etc. and would do the same goddamn thing for Fournette in the same situation. The fact that you cannot see the hypocrisy in this is baffling.

Not tonight

Would take him back in a heartbeat for his worst game compared to what we had this year.

If you grew up in Alabama, I tend to doubt you actually have that strong of a tie to any NFL team. You kind of cheer for the players you know.

I would have loved to have had a Saints like team in my home state, even when they struggled for so long.

The closest we ever got was the Birmingham Stallions.

In the SEC,

I like Auburn and LSU. My best game experience ever was an LSU/Ole Miss game in BR.

Again, I admit I have no allegiance in the NFL. Hard to have a favorite when your state does not have at least one team.

When they are in the playoffs, I like the Saints. But mostly, at my age, I like to see the old guys beat the odds. Newton is young, he will hopefully mature and will have more shots. I really felt like this was it for Manning.

I now live in PA, which is bad because I do not like the Eagles or the Steelers. And oh my god at how bad the B1G football games up here can be.

Did you grow up a Saints fan?

I am not sure if many in Alabama grew up as any real NFL fan.

Auburn fans try to convince people it's not weird because Carolina is kind of close. They forget they skip over a team to get to Carolina, through.

I, like many Auburn fans, don't have a particular allegiance to an NFL team. So when an athlete accomplishes everything that he did on my favorite team, I root for his success at the next level. Also, you would most definitely favor whatever team an LSU player was on in games not pertaining to the Saints. To deny any understanding of this concept would be ridiculous.

I'm happiest for the MSB that we don't have to suffer through as many Cam threads. Manning's 9.9 QB rating was just too much to overcome lol

There were maybe 5 auburn fans who actually legitimately rooted for cam like he was still at auburn. The rest of us just enjoyed trolling the saints and LSU fans here. It was fairly successful, evidently.
