8 - Freeman (LH)
Hitting Freeman in the 8 hole would be a disaster.
Also, Fredi has already said that Chipper will hit in the 3 hole every game he plays.

Hitting Nate in the 2 hole would be a disaster, but unfortunately I think that's they way we might be going
What I think the opening day lineup will be on March 31st:
Prado
McLouth
Chipper
McCann
Uggla
Heyward
A Gon
Freeman
What I wish it would be like with the same players:
Prado
Chipper
Heyward
Uggla
McCann
Freeman
A Gon
McLouth

Personally, I wouldn't want Alex batting right there
In the 2 hole you want someone who's gonna make consistent contact while getting on base at a high percentage and also able to get guys over with situational hitting
Alex gives you none of that, so he's better suited lower in the lineup where he can drive guys in and it won't matter as much when he sits there and strikes out 120 times
Chipper is the IDEAL 2 hole hitter at this point. He's not a run producer anymore so he shouldn't be batting in the 3 spot, but he's still going to have an OBP of up around .380, which put behind Prado is going to mean a lot of guys on base a lot of the time for Heyward, Uggla, and Mac
Problem is, Chipper will be in the 3 hole no matter what

Yes he will and I hate seeing them do this just because hes Chipper. Hes my all time favorite player but why still let him bat 3rd? Is it a fan thing?

Yeah mine too but it's time for that to change
Think Fredi is just scared what everyone will say about him if he comes in and changes what has been the same for 15 years
