Because it got our most important hitter booted from a game that we need to win to get home field. Because now MLB is gonna review it, and there could be additional suspensions come out of it. There's more to play for and these useless fricks aren't worth it right now.

Any suspensions will be appealed and won't be served this year.

That's the tongue in cheek, pissed off fan in me. The smart thing to do is realize the big picture. Gomez's stupid arse will be sitting at home sticking needles in his arse in less than a week. We have more to play for right now.

I just saw this fight. I never understand what the bullpens' rationale is for running over during fights: they're at the edge of the crowd and can't stop it, fight's probably done by that point, better view watching the fight on the big screen than in the crowd
