The #Astros have inquired on #Braves CF Ender Inciarte. Presumably would have to move Carlos Gomez to make a deal work.

Reed is pretty much untouchable. He's going to be the starting first baseman an hour after the super two date

We wouldn't have a place to play Reed if we got him. I just don't see us as a match with Houston. Chicago still seems like a good trade partner.

Ender is highly coveted. He has 4 years of control left. Is between a 3-5 War player depending on what WAR you are using. More teams have inquired about Ender than Shelby.

I bumped our thread too, but I think we are shopping Gomez for a SP and targeting Inciarte simultaneously as a replacement. Inciarte has the right hitting profile that I hoped we would seek out this offseason.

I expect the braves to slowly start adding pieces for when they make their run when the new ballpark opens. They aren't going to get to that offseason and suddenly build it up.
