People that comment on things like that on Facebook are functioning retards

To try and have a conversion on a Facebook article or a post like that makes said person a retard too

well defensive players are not normally sexy picks unless they are some outspoken standout player. And to be fair the texans have (and still need) a qb, which is a sexy pick for the fans. The normal everyday football fan looks at points on the board and who puts them there. I remeber last couple years the cowboys fans not excited about their picks... and what did it end up doing? Producing the best offensive line in the nfl and league leading rusher because of it. Its like a car, people look at the outside, whats sexy, whats hot... but the real gear heads look under the hood. Its what you dont see in the media that builds these teams

To be fair, I don't know why I downloaded Timehop because I'm reminded occassionally of some of my sports thoughts in the past that have since backfired

Twitter and FB were made for situations just like this, that's pretty good.

So who did the people screaming about QB want them to take? Christian Ponder?

Kind of reminds me of when Heath Ledger was cast as the Joker.

Your average NFL fan knows nothing going into the draft. They don't follow college football, and they don't bother researching at all.

Even if they did bother researching, they are just listening to other people's thoughts. No one is actually watching scout's game film, and even if they were, .1% would know what to look for in game film to actually scout a player.

No. Texans fans were mad that Gabbert went 10th and then they took a DE.

Ponder went 12th
Dalton 35th
Kapernick 36th
Mallet 74th
