Shaun Hill was being held out, too. He would be next man up and the Vikings would go down the list of Free Agents before landing on Joel Stave to start a regular season game.

This sport is so messed up. Cowgirls and Vikes fans had all the reason in the world to be excited about their seasons. Now, it's likely kaput.

On the bright side, this can't be anything more than the 2nd worst preseason practice cancellation in Vikings history
