I didn't kick him off the team, exactly the opposite; I said "it makes you wonder what was done to keep him on the team". Also, a 3.0 is no real indication of his intelligence and how do you know he is really smart? Does he have a 3.0 in engineering or a 3.0 in sports science/advanced home economics, etc.

It seems you're implying that string were pulled to keep him on the team after he sent out a tweet.

He is extremely articulate. And obviously a 3.0 doesn't show signs of intelligence. He grew up as a man and a student. That was my only point.

I will not even address this, but that is how Obama was elected.

I believe strings are pulled to keep the majority of college players on a team. If you realize how much time is spent on football it is extremely hard to excel in class as well. Many do; many don't. I also believe that tutors, help, education centers, etc. If every student was given as much assistance as athletes, I believe the majority would graduate with high gpa's. Every University does this, not just OSU, however, not all athlete's make stupid statements about going to class.

Sure, Cardale is raw, but he has 3 things that you can't teach. You're either born with it or you're not.

1. Calmness under duress
2. Big Arm
3. Accuracy

You can't teach accuracy?

He gets all the help in the world, as do all the athletes at Ohio State. I still don't understand why you think a tweet indicates that strings were pulled to keep him on the team. That's a weird conclusion to make.

And from looking at your posts, you seem a little dimwitted yourself. And terrible at making proper inferences.

Big Ben comparison is something I don't agree with. He is way more athletic

I've never seen Ben run over a 310 pound nose tackle 1 on 1 right in the hole like cardale

Or jump over DBs and linebackers

He was throwing it 70 yards on his knees pregame. I don't think Big Ben has that type of arm.

Yeah, can't win the argument so attack the person making it.

I didn't say he couldn't make it in the pros, but his body of work is severely limited.

You also may want to reread your posts; you are the one saying someone is intelligent because they sound articulate, that is extremely dimwitted. Again, what proof do you have that he is "very smart" aside from he sounds very articulate. Also, words means something. When someone makes a statement about why should he go to class, when he is on an athletic scholarship at a "prestigious academic institution"; that is regardless how you paint it ; not very smart.

Cardale should go pro and I think he is the best pure pro prospect this year (which isn't saying much). A team that has the luxury of keeping him on the bench for a year or two should grab him as he gets accustomed to the speed of the NFL for a while.

I don't think any big name QBs in this draft will be great pros, but I think he has the highest ceiling. None should go in the 1st round IMO.

He has the size, athleticism, and ELITE arm strength. He showed accuracy, calm under pressure, and ability to make tight throws on 2nd and 3rd reads.

He is Jamarcus but a better athlete, with a slightly weaker arm (JRock = strongest arm ever).

Also, people like to bring up his tweet about school, but the kid has good grades (3.0 and scholar athlete at OSU), is 22 years old, is married with kids, and seems to be a decent enough guy. He is well spoken and seems to be calm under pressure on the sidelines with his teammates.

I HOPE TO GOD SOMEONE IN THE NFC SOUTH BESIDES THE SAINTS DRAFTS JAMEIS WINSTON. EVEN BETTER IF ITS 1ST ROUND. The guy will be a massive bust.

He is immature, stupid, and a massive douche bag. Not to mention he has bad mechanics with a slow delivery, bad eyesight, and has turned into a turnover machine.

Big 10 champ, Sugarbowl champ, first CFB playoff champ, and hugged by LeGOAT after first three starts. Will he ever have a better run in life, sports-wise?

That was such a tough, clutch run.
