Pretty sure it was, he made a few starts in MLB last year and will start in Memphis.

Springfield will have Alcantara and Dakota Hudson in terms of best pitching prospects.

I plan on catching a few starts for each.

really interested in watching Carson Kelly

He is the future, and he has hit everywhere he has been promoted

Really like the OF this year, piscotty and grichuk will give solid defense in corners and Fowler is solid, not great d, but steady, and best D in CF in a while.

people expecting way 2 much from pitchers coming off of injuries. those guys are going to be on fumes come September, especially how hard MM rides guys.

hopefully our long relief guys can give us some innings, and our pen isnt rode into the ground.

I like the offense a lot, our 1-5 is really good and with guys that flat out battle at the plate.

Fowler/Marp alone may get you a 25+ pitch inning just from them and I love that approach. Not many better in the game than Marp and Fowler at working deep counts, great eyes, minimal K's.

Add in Piscotty hopefully continuing to improve on a strong rookie season, and Diaz as well, and that is a very very good 1-5 with Molina still giving you a solid .280+ and also works counts with a great batters eye.

Bottom of the order we'll see, Peralta/Grichuk/Wong could be terrible or could be pretty solid. For some reason I think Wong puts it together and has a strong season.

Saw Gomber pitch last year. He's not flashy, but generally keeps you in the game.

Uh... so what does Garcia being MVP of the league have to do with Jose Adolis, unless of course bob is racist and refers to all of them as Garcia

His full name is Jose Adolis Garcia, seems about half don't use Garcia and the other half do. Dunno.

Anyone know why Hazelbaker wasn't protected? I thought he was better than other players who were protected.

I'm not real sure tbh but I'm not familiar enough with the rule 5 to say. I will say that while I really liked Hazelbaker I don't think there's a lot of chance that he maintains the level he played with last year even with him tailing off in the second half

ETA: after looking it wasn't rule 5 he was claimed off waivers bc I assume he was out of options. Not really much the organization can do to protect him if that was the case

we already have 3-4 hazelbakers in system, no reason to bring him back.

Typical injuries await

I thought he should have been protected over J. Martinez. Oh well. I hope Bader continues to play well. Saw him last year too.

Yes it's not bad. Pretty easy to get to usually. Going to a Nats game is a great way to go have fun for a great value.

Coach Rowe told me I needed to see Hammons also and will give me the penny tour.
I love going to MiLB games

Yea I guess it's not that big of a deal I just want him to play to help finally figure out whether he's worth a shite or not

Hammons Field is great. I went to several games last year. There are nice features I really like about both parks. Food is definitely better at Arvest Park.

If he doesn't figure it out this year I think he's trade bait. He had a solid 2014, so I think he can play at that level again.
