Which is why he's continuing to make an arse of himself, tbh

He's the NBA's sideshow Bob right now.

Satisfaction? Spreading his personal misery? Inflicting harm on those who have shunned him?

No one else has made remarks that have caused sponsors to threaten to leave.

But, what if DS causes those comments to become public, then those owners have to be booted as well?

Once there was a large backlash against Sterling then there was a contractual violation.

So, DS contract with the NBA was broken by the public and not by DS?

NBA Constitution which gives the commissioner great discretion in deciding punishment.

No sir.

There are a limited number of offenses that can lead to a vote to remove a member. I think those items are listed in article 13.

Tell me which of those offenses DS committed?

And really, who the frick would defend that sorry sack of shite. He's been an a-hole long, long before this incident.

I will defend his right to keep his team. I will defend his right to tell his gf who he does and does not want to be with.

I tell my kids not to hang out with or bring losers to my house. I think I should have that right and so does DS.

I don't think he's sending PI's out to look for racist comments. I think they're going to be looking into financial discrepancies that may have taken place. Some under-the-table money shenanigans, if you will. That would be easier to uncover and expose/prove than comments some owner made 5 years ago. And those dealings may not be limited strictly to owners. It could be deals the NBA made with different entities that could show them in a negative light.

Whole thing is bullshite.

I'll tell you this, if I was as old as he is and had a few billion and someone fricked with me, I would burn them to the ground.

Sterling will be dead before too long. He can't take that money with him. When you are dead, your dead. He might as well get whatever personal satisfaction he can by fricking the people who tried to frick him and ruin them. That includes the entire nba and every owner in the nba who turned their back on him.

Wage war and go out guns blazing and proud of it. That is what I would do. frick roll over and die and go out meekly trying to be the good guy while taking it in the arse.

Didn't his wife personally guarantee she would pay back the NBA ANY money they would lose in a lawsuit to him? That's what I heard on the radio a few times!

If he dies his estate will only pay taxes on the difference of the value of the team when he died and what they sell it for. The value is currently at 2 billion so if he dies and they sell it for 2 billion he pays nothing. If he sells it before he dies he has to pay taxes on the difference between what he purchased it for, 12 million, and the sale price of 2 billion. This means his family will have literally save over 500 million in tax money if he can hold on until he dies. At least that is how I understand it....

Hes a sad old man, who has probably turned off any friends he had left. I wouldn't want to be remembered as the raving racist who couldn't let it go.

If he would have apologized and just went away for a little bit America has ADD like a mofo.

If I had billions I wouldn't give a shite about what America thought of me. With that kind of money I could set up every single person I care about for life so it would be well worth it.

He never had a "right" to own an NBA franchise. That is a privilege.

He told his gf not to bring black people to his games. That is detrimental to the business that is the NBA. He has the right to say whatever he wants--and the NBA has the right to deem his words as threatening to their commerce.

This is not the same thing. How ignorant of you, tbh
