He's a regular season beast. Fact is, he's soft and the style of basketball referees allow in the playoffs is not for him

predictable sensationalism. He's not soft. If anything, he was probably thinking about his shot too much and not just letting it happen. It's a constant mental battle to focus on certain fundamentals and just letting go on instinct and rhythm.

not to mention that in the playoffs he was playing against playoff teams night after night and not the Sixers, Pelicans and Lakers.

He was solid/sometimes great against OKC and they were being very physical.

He had a horrible finals performance. Up until this series he had been great in just about every other series/game he played

Lets not forget that he partially tore his mcl and had a severe ankle sprain in the playoffs. If not for the playoffs, those injuries would have sidelined him for a month or more.

Nah. It's more fun for some people just to call him garbage.

It's pretty clear to anyone with a brain he was hurt, and didn't play up to his standards. That's not an excuse. Cleveland earned that title. This thread isn't neccesary

Cleveland is a very physical team and Steph was getting pushed around on the court for most of this series.

Credit to Steph for sticking with it and fighting all series, as he is a mentally tough dude, but he is physically weak.
