Sources: #Steelers playmaking WR Martavis Bryant recently requested a trade. His teammates and coaches are well aware that he’s unhappy.

Fwiw, Ian Rapaport reported this.

I'd take it with a grain of salt until someone confirms this.

Remember, Rapaport reported the Steelers were trying to trade Big Ben a few years ago.

Every steelers game that I've watched this year, he seems to blow past the defender, and then Ben overthrows him, or forces it to Brown instead.

Ugh. First Phillip Rivers forgets Keenan Allen exists, and now Bryant is pissing off his own QB (who has been sneaky bad).

Goddamnit.

The Bears should make a play. In need of a receiver bad. With their division injuries their season is not lost like the Giants.

Has anyone seen Pittsburgh try to use him this year? The kid isn't heading to the HOF, but they're flooding him over the middle of the field too much.

Big win today and tomorrow right back to work tomorrow I am happy to be a steeler and can't wait to reach number 7 this year.

Rap is either trying to start stuff, or getting his rumors from the wrong source.

Have you seen Cleveland or Chicago's WRs?

Corey Coleman in Cleveland is better than Martavis Bryant and has far more potential.

Maybe the bears until their WR get healthy...but he wouldn't get anymore there than he would in Pitt when it comes down to it because of the QB play.

Maybe, but he's had like 1 good game as a pro, and has been injured.

I read that his girlfriend tweeted something like, "can you blame him y'all never get him the ball" and then deleted the tweet. I don't know if that was in OP's story. I think it was on PFT

ETA found it

quote:

Deja Hiott, whom Bryant has identified as his girlfriend multiple times on social media, posted a tweet on Sunday night that responded to the report of Bryant wanting a trade and seemed to confirm that the report was accurate. “Well. You guys should’ve seen it coming. Taking him off the field, not giving the ball or the chance to reach his full potential,” Hiott wrote, in a tweet she later deleted.

I think the weed did that, not the Steelers.

He's an idiot. Had kids before he finished high school. Only gave effort his last few games at Clemson when he was about to bolt for the NFL. And now requesting a trade from a team that stood by you when you were suspended for a whole year. What a dumbass
