I don't see why Arkansas at #5 is funny. They lost two games this year and they were on the road at the top 2 teams in the country. They'll be stout again offensively and get Alabama and LSU at home.

They got destroyed in 2 games last year. They almost lost to Vanderbilt & Texas A&M and struggled to put away Troy

Another thing that's funny is Bama fans using the 9th as a reason Mcarron will be good. I guess Bama has a month to prepare for each game. He was putrid more times than not.

I am going to enjoy a nice laugh next year when LSU does not allow your Offense to score a single point.

What does this have to do with this thread at all? We moved the ball perfectly well against them last time. I still expect to lose handily though.

Only what, like 20 more years straight of beating us to even up the series? 5 more Rose Bowls to tie us up? gtfo

What is so special about Alabama that you people have them in the top 5? They lost their only great player from an offense that was already pretty average, they are breaking in a new offensive coordinator and they lost half of their defense that was so good last year. Color me unimpressed.

I feel the same wAy. In 2010 Bama had way more talent than this upcoming team and lost 3 games.

Unfortunately, you are forgetting about Barrett Jones and their entire offensive line, which will be the best in the nation. Bama will still be pretty good.

You must suffer from short term memory loss, or you are just straight up fricking stupid. Which is it?

LSU dressed up Oregon like little girls then pissed in their tea.

Don't they lose their center? Also if their OL was so great their offense would of been better this season

LSU just has blazing amount of talent returning next year

Not really. LSU has 12 returing starter, 6 on O and 6 on D, (plus 2 kickers). That put them tied for 9th in the SEC. One could argue that Russell Shepard is a starter, but he only caught 14 passes all year.

Offense: 6 — RB Spencer Ware, WR Odell Beckham, Jr., LT Chris Faulk, C P.J. Lonergan, RG Josh Williford, RT Alex Hurst.

Defense: 6 — DE Barkevious Mingo, DT Bennie Logan, DE Sam Montgomery, MLB Kevin Minter, CB Tyrann Mathieu, FS Eric Reid

Bama is dead last in the SEC at returning starters, bringing back only 10. Granted Bama has alot of depth, but the starters are the starter for a reason.

Offense: 6 — QB A.J. McCarron, TE Michael Williams, LT Barrett Jones, LG Chance Warmack, RG Anthony Steen, RT D.J. Fluker.

Defense: 4 — DE Jesse Williams, DE Damion Square, ILB Nico Johnson, FS Robert Lester

This makes more sense to me...those top two are still getting the best athletes. Might as well throw another SEC team in the top 5...probably be one there anyways.

Oregon still needs to get the D-line athletes and prove themselves apart from winning 1 Rose Bowl against Wisky. I would put Oregon below OU or at #5.
