Anyone complaining about BYUs rules are stupid. If you don't believe in following those rules THEN YOU DONT ATTEND THE SCHOOL! They're not harming anyone with what they're doing.

I didn't realize until the other day how cheap it is to go to BYU. It's less than 6 grand a year.

Looks like she's got a thick booty. I'd probably hit it too, eventhough she's not my type.

While I agree that if you know the rules and break the rules you have to pay the consequences however BYU has been playing at a high level in sports for a long time now and I have not heard of any athletes being suspended for honor code violations until now and I will have a very hard time being convinced that there hasn't been other code violations that the administration knew about and didn't turn a blind eye...

Ronnie Jenkins got kicked off the football team in 1998, between the end of the regular season and the Liberty Bowl.

Deadspin has a pretty good breakdown of the BYU honor code from a BYU alum. His guess is that another player on the team ratted him out directly to the "honor code office".

All the people spouting the "he knew what he signed up for" line need to give this a read. The guy makes a lot of good points.

I have a hard time believing that the rest of the BYU athletes go thru college without banging chicks.

How do they get a recruit?

I don't think she was an athlete, but wasn't there a girl who went to BYU about 10 years ago that was part of the cast of Real World on MTV and was subsequently expelled from the school because she lived in the same house as males? She didn't have sex or anything, she was booted simply for living in the same house as males and she wasn't married to any of them.

O guess everyone forgets you get warnings it's not a 1 and done. They pretty much give you a warning, then a written warning, then dismissal. Pretty much like whatever your dorm was like, except it's campus wide.
