You're saying that the suspension was only 2 games to bring attention to women's bball?

You really think women's bball wants THAT kind of attention?

Dumbest thing I've ever heard.

This???

That is what you're freaking out about right? Sorry, I don't see the similarities. The TT girl tries to throw her down and isn't successful just because of the Baylor girl's size. She was much more provoked than Blount was and she didn't go charging into the stands or anything.

Bitch deserved to get jacked in the face IMO. I think they should just go with the NCAA mandated suspension.

And for what she did, there's no excuse. You're playing basketball. People always bump into and hit each other. That nasty bitch needs to be gone for longer than two games.

I'm not excusing her. But anything more would have been terribly excessive.

And this chick is virtually unstoppable so teams basically just beat on her all game. She shouldn't have blown up but I'd probably lose my shite too if people were just allowed to repeatedly hack me up with the only penalty being a whistle...

When Shaq was at LSU he got kill every nite but he never hit anyone. Griner is a thug and should be kick out for more than two games

Blount did it on ESPN in front of the nation during the season opener.

Grimes' act was just as bad (or worse because she did it during the game), but it was not telecast nationally. Just imagine if Women's college b-ball was the most popular sport on ESPN, and it was the only game broadcast on Opening day. There would be national outrage, and Mulkey would over-react just as Kelley did.

She should get about 3 games IMO. Blount should have gotten 3 also, but that's because he got the crowd involed too.

So if she didn't break her nose, then you'd be OK with it?

The act of punching someone is not as heinous an offense as you pussies make it out to be.

Saying Griner was getting killed is not accurate. While some things may have happened leading to the punch, her reaction to a "Hook" was over the top. What was done to her was not painfull or abusive. She just went gangsta on her.

How is it not? I'm talking about over the course of the whole game. She gets the shite beat out of her on a nightly basis. she touches the ball they foul her basically because she's 6'8 and they can't stop her otherwise.

I'd get pretty damn annoyed with that too.
