As we head into September

.293/.350/.445 11HR 50RBI 67R 20/22SB 39BB 77K .795 OPS

His 4.4 WAR (espn) ranks 4th in the majors among RFers. Last 2 months combined he has struck out 28 times and walked 21.

#STLCards’ Heyward OPS since the All-Star break: .901. Up to .792 for the season. Only 26. He will do quite well in free agency.

Since his terrible first month

May: .284/.340/.443/.783
June: .326/.365/.517/.881
July: .312/.387/.419/.806
August: .311/.380/.478/.858

9th in runs
24th in HR
17th in RBI
9th in OPS

Stats are among MLB RF, most would call a power, run producing position. Those numbers would be passable as a CF. Great defensively and on the bases (hence the inflated WAR)

Why are cards fans so insecure about their team and players? Just play ball, mon

He's having a phenomenal year, and there are a LOT more than just this thread that will be bumped at a later time, just be prepared, Crimsonian has some gems out there we've all got bookmarked. We'll see if he eats his crow, I will guess no.

He's going to get, and earn, every penny this offseason.
