To be fair the Tech fans have said they're defense is only good at creating turnovers. I think they are top 5 in the nation at creating turnovers.

Ive never been a huge SEC guy, but the overall conferences success and reputation helps LSU, so it makes more sense than having to root for LaTech because theyre in the same state

I broke even yesterday so I wasnt too mad. What made me blow up was Merlins wanting to score a TD with 8sec left. Would've come out ahead if it weren't for that. quote:

Tech has an up and coming program. It will not be at LSU's status but they have a chance in the next few years to build a program that can be in BCS talks each year. They will never compete for a BCSNC but potential BCS wins. They need to win one of these big games though. TCU and A&M games are must wins to really make their program as a credible program. They will get there though.
As a ULM fan, we are stoked about this season. Hope it lays the groundwork for some good recruits and money.

You can't seriously believe this can you? They play in the WAC and after watching their abysmal defense last night you might want to pump the brakes on "BCS wins" for the Techsters. They are fortunate AtM had 1,000 penalties called on them last night or they would have lost by the margin the first half indicated.
