Throw in the NCAA findings of SAT cheating, the Trump video fiasco and Frank Wilson is getting closer and closer to Lafayette...

In talking to some of my ULL friends that are ardent supporters of the football team it is pretty clear that a growing portion of their fan base is tired of HUD and wants the program to move on.

So the story is that it was a prank against a fellow team member and they already returned all his stuff. From the hints, it sounds like the "victim" was Artez Williams who was just kicked off the team for rape allegations. Once he was kicked off he got mad and went to police about it.

No idea if true, or just spin but that's what I got from cryptic "in the know statements"

Wouldn't he be out of the dorms by now?

Frank would not take a job recruiting in state against LSU.

Something is definitely up with 13 guys getting arrested for petty theft. Got to be more to the story for sure

That being said, HUD has recruited pretty well and improved the talent level but some of the guys he has taken were character risks and have not reflected very well on the University

So they pranked a guy that was kicked off the team for rape allegations?

yeah that makes zero sense

I'm not sure the exact timeline of it, but the incident didn't just happen.

I sort of believe it was closer to a prank than a robbery because I have a had time seeing Matt Barnes and a couple of other guys named being criminals.

Probably had a guy or two take it too far, add in Williams being mad about being kicked off the team, and you get a big shitstorm

So here is what happened according to a guy I work with. He has a relative who is on the staff. The guy who got arrested earlier this month for raping a girl has been sent to jail. The guys who were arrested yesterday decided to break into his dorm room to take his stuff, because that is what they do in their neighborhoods back home. If their homeboy gets locked up, he doesn't need his stuff anymore, so they help themselves to it. This is what they told the coaching staff to explain themselves.

Seems to me that Hud has let things get out of control with his guys. It's a shame and you have to imagine his leash is getting shorter and shorter.

You guys need to cut Hud some slack. He doesn't have time to monitor all these players while he's working out at Reds 3 times a day, every day

His leash can only be as short as his buyout. The changes going on on campus and to the sports venues are great. However, the way they are funded do not allow them to fire a $1MM/yr coach with years left on his contract.
