If they can't make it to the conference finals under Doc, should the Clippers go another route and trade someone and bring in someone else to change things up?

Are they likely to resign Jordan anyway?

No, but they never should have given Doc full control, he's completely ruined the bench of this team.

While depth is less important in the playoffs, you do need some semblance of competent players out there from your bench.

They need to get a bench. Crawford and Big Baby are not enough to carry them to the Finals. Their starters are exhausted by the end of the 3rd qtr. I'd add 3 really decent bench guys and keep those starters intact.

No they should just add better role/bench players.

This

They should not get rid of Jordan. Big men who can guard the paint are not easy to come by.

No...if they work on their bench this offseason, they have a good shot at making a deeper run next year.

Matt Barnes, obviously.

I love how he's such a fake hardass. He's no Mike Barnes, that's for sure.

No.

I think one of their main problems was that their starters were gassed at the end of the games.

That's when the shots stop falling and the defense breaks down.

If they had any bench at all that could hold their own and give the starters some rest, they could sustain a high level of play for 48 minutes.

Maybe I'm crazy, and it pains me to say the following because he is my favorite Thunder player. But I think a Westbrook for CP3 might be a smart trade for both franchises. Heck, and with his age and huge jump in numbers, maybe the Clippers would have to throw in a role guy to make the deal work.

This would also put Russ back in LA where he's been rumored to end up for several years now.

They should fire GM Doc and get an actual functioning NBA bench

Hawes looks like the worst decision given his contract.

They knocked out the Spurs I'd say their roster was good enough to beat anyone. They were outplayed and outcoached by HOU.

Yeah Doc messed up this past offseason. He had a chance to sign Paul Pierce, who wanted to come to LA. He decided to sign Spencer Hawes.
And then stubbornly defended it. LINK

They should hire a GM, and possibly consider a sign and trade for Jordan.

Can't have that. Back to the drawing board.
