Pippen is a top 50 player of all time, Thompson is basically a nobody. Who are you kidding?

Pippen but I don't think I'd want to replace Klay with him on this Warriors team. Losing Klay's shooting would probably hurt more than having Pip's defense would help and his advantages over Klay offensively are kind of redundant with Green and Iggy.

Thompson isn't even the second best player on his team.

Here's how I would compare the best players on the '96 Bulls and '16 Warriors.

Best Player: Curry = Jordan
2nd Best Starter: Pippen > Green
3rd Best Starter: Rodman = Thompson
4th Best Starter: Bogut > Harper
5th Best Starter: Barnes = Longley

Bench: Kukoc is significantly better than any players the Warriors have coming off the bench. However, the Warriors bench is far deeper and more talented from top to bottom. Their depth is ridiculous. The Warriors have 10 or 11 really good players they can throw at you every night.

Coaching: You have to give the edge to the Bulls here with Phil Jackson. He's unquestionably one of the two or three best coaches in NBA history.

Overall: Essentially a push, maybe a slight edge to the Warriors.

Pippen and it's not really close but Klay works really well with the Warriors.

I'm talking about this year only. Curry in 2016 is every bit as good as Jordan was in '96 if not better.

He's definitely better than '96 Jordan.

You do realize Jordan averaged 30 a game, was first team defense, all star MVP, Finals MVP, and didn't miss a game in 95-96? Curry may be pretty equal on the offensive end as Jordan wasn't as explosive that late in his career, but Jordan was light years better defensively. That is half the game you realize?
