What if he's the best player in the game? He still doesn't deserve it?

Because that's what the award is for

They haven't even played the game yet, and you are saying that he doesn't deserve the Super Bowl MVP.

That doesn't make any sense.

Proof is right there that the Seahawks defense has powered them through everything and Russell deserves no credit in the outcome of the season.

This is so stupid. It's the MVP of the game. The rest of the season should have no bearing on this.

Three things

1. He didnt win last year

2. If he throws for 500 yards and 5 tds and they win 38-35, who should win?

3. Teddy Bridgewater was pretty fricking good this year considering the circumstances.

What if he throws for 400 yards and 6 TDs?

Don't worry, if the Seahawks win Malcolm Smith is going back to back.

The MVP is for the game, not the postseason.

Also, do you dumbfricks not remember Seattle's record BEFORE Wilson got there?

Probably why Malcolm Smith won it.

he doesn't deserve it this year regardless of how the game turns out

But the Seahawks won in a shootout and Wilson had another 300 yard passing and 100 yard rushing game like he did earlier this year! Still the only QB in history to accomplish that. Not bad for a Teddy Bridgewater.
