False, he's missed games 3 of the last 5 years, only the 2011 season was he not healthy at the end of the season FWIW.

If there are questions about whether Schaub will be healthy for the start of next season, ok, but that's not what we've heard at this point.

No way they resign Mario. They are probably going to go after a good receiver to complement AJ witht he money they save from Mario.

some of us do. That's why i keep saying its not fantasy FB. You can't jsut cut or trade Schaub without it affecting the cap, Manning is not going to play for the league minimum either. There are other things to consider in the real world besides just 1 QB is not as good as another was.

You mean I can't run a team like on Madden where I have the worst depth and cheapest backup players but have incredible starters.

according to ESPN stats, he missed the final 6 regualr season games in 2011, full seasons in 2010/09, missed a 5 game stretch in 2008, and missed the final 5 games in 2007

the argument is moot anyway. hes not a reliable starter either.

Schaub will never get the Texans to the Super Bowl.

Really? the team that got to the 2nd round of the playoffs and almost won with a rookie QB won't be able to win 2 more games with a top 10-15 QB?

In your opinion maybe he's not reliable, the injury last year was a flukey kind of injury that would have happened to anyone.

he has a track record. in 60% of the seasons he has played in houston, he has missed 5 or more games in a season. sure the knee thing this year was flukey, but it seems to always be something. he cant lead us to the super bowl from the bench.

Possibly, but since it seems like you follow the Texans, Kubiak likes people that know or can relate to his system. Peyton has NEVER played in run heavy play action offense like the Texans.

One of the main reasons they took Yates in last year's draft was because the offense they ran at UNC was similar is verbiage and play calling to what the Texans run.

It's not impossible that they take Manning, however with the need to sign Foster and Myers and POSSIBLY Mario, the chances are very slim that they would take a chance on a older QB coming off of 3 neck surgeries with no certainty that he can play.

No way Peyton goes to Houston- I would put him at about a 10% chance of ever being a starter in the NFL.
