The mountains behind the stadium look really nice. Is it not possible at all to renovate it to stay there long term?

I think the problems with their stadium go well beyond aesthetics. I seems like every year they have some kind of infrastructure issue.

Wasn't there raw sewage backing up into the clubhouse and dugout not too long ago?

Jesus Christ...

This is one of the reasons Raiders left.

Can they EVER shake the fricking A's?????

And joint baseball stadium bullshite??????

Raiders left because the Coliseum sucks arse...and Raiders are like the only team still playing on a fricking infield of dirt brought in during the 1960's!!!!!!!!

People don't want to see baseball diamond football in 2017.

They expect more.

A's tried to block everything the Raiders wanted to do in Oakland. frick the A's...I hope they rot in hell and glad the Roid Brothers got embarrassed by the Dodgers in 1988.

I thought it's been said that the A's are actively searching for their long term location and Manfred said it'll be announced by years end where in Oakland a new park will be (or the renovations to the coliseum)

I'd hate to see the A's leave Oakland. The Bay Area is a great place for pro sports, and some of the cross bay rivalries have been fun to watch.

What next? Another team relocated to a city with little pro baseball history and plays in a sterile stadium (I'm in favor of Oakland building a new baseball-only facility)? Slap on some chicken shite name and presto, a new ball club.

Yeah I'm sure you are super privy to inside Bay Area info.

Las Vegas will never get an MLB team. Fact.

Speaking of MLB back to Montreal, looks like the money is there for ownership and a new stadium.

I'll donate to the A's move anywhere outside of Oakland fund. As an Astros fan, playing the A's there is pretty much dreadful all around.

~games start at 9 pm central

So 7p local time?

One that the Raiders' situation created. Now that might be retro-fitted for baseball, or given an entirely new baseball stadium now that they're the only team in town.

So their fans are passionate and care? Seems very un-Houston-like behavior, I'll give you that.
