JR fricking smith!

Have you seen JR's numbers this year? Where else in the NBA can you get that production for $5million????

at least DD gets 3-5 dimes per game. wiggins is averaging sub-2

DD gets to the line about 1 more time/game and he hits at a 6% higher clip, too. subtle difference but makes a difference over a season

In hindsight Bosh was extremely important to Miami's success, more so than Baby Bron.

What has Miami done after LBJ left?

we're comparing him with the mythological superstar that is andrew wiggins, though

smith is a great value and fit for the team. moreso than wiggins, which means that wiggins would get even less PT and provide even less value if he were actually on the cavs right now.

Kyrie and bron have both played like arse vs the Warriors, Durant and Westbrook always seem to go off plus I think brons shot is gone

Wiggins has been very poor defensively as well:

(That's the fg% he gives up when guarding those spots)

ETA: This article details his issues on both sides

The NBA finals never happened last year

No player in the NBA is or can be more dominant than LBJ.

Lebrons cannot shoot at all and that is bad news vs the Warriors

lebron developed into a really good shooter in miami with some great seasons and he's completely regressed in cleveland

He shot really well when they had Ray Allen and it seems like he's gone back to his old habits and way of shooting

Once again, you forget the finals ever happened. LBJ dominated, completely and he didn't rely on his shot. Yea they still lost the series but you will not see a performance like that from any one player in the current NBA. He dominated offense, defense, boards, etc. I'm not tying to hype up LBJ, just trying to show you that KD and Westbrook will do no better against the Warriors.

His efficiency was awful mainly because he can't shoot and his shot has only gotten worse

LeBron used to always be good with that 3 from the left wing during his best shooting years.

you're kind of stretching here

his shot has gotten worse, so he "can't shoot" in the present. as a general point, when he went to cleveland, he could shoot

it's just gotten worse

I'm not arguing that his efficiency was awful or that he can't shoot. What I'm arguing is that if LBJ can only take the Warriors to a game 6 with 80 rebound 53 assists 8 steals 3 blocks and 215 points, I highly doubt whatever KD and Westbrook can muster will be enough.

Westbrook and kd combined for 67/17/17 and pretty much lost in the final minutes when they stopped attacking the rim
