I too said it was a bad move. Still can't believe they had such little foresight.
The only way it made any sense was if they just thought Wiggins would take too long and/or had too low of a ceiling with regards to his development.

They couldn't have picked up Love via FA. They were over the cap. Only way to get him was via trade. Could they have waited and tried to do a sign and trade deal with him a year later? Maybe. Wolves were adamant on getting wiggins for him though.

As much as I don't like Kevin Love, let's be honest the trade was only made because Lebron wanted Kevin Love.
BTW: this is the annual NY beat writers "mega" trade involving the Cavs. Happens every year around the all star break.

I hated the trade , wiggins had been a for gone lock to be number one pick for 3 years. The cavs gm traded him for an un athletic white stat stuffer on a bad team, woat trades
