How are their lines? WM is huge this year, although their backfield isn't as good as recent years.

Winning the Catholic league does not equal winning a state championship. When was the last time a Catholic league school won a state championship in the state's top classification?

No one runs the ball well against WM. You've got to beat them through the air. Spread teams have always given WM much more trouble than traditional offenses.

Shaw 87?

Edited to add, I just checked and it was Shaw in 1987 when 4A was the highest classification.

St. Aug 1993 was ridiculous. West Monroe won 34-33 in double OT at West Jeff. Greatest game I've ever been to in my life.

Rummel has two teams - their offense and their defense. The defense is very good. True to form, Rummel's offense is bad. This is a recurring theme for as long as Roth has been running the offense. They are constantly confused, always late getting to the line of scrimmage, and make way too many stupid penalities. After watching Rummel for years, I have to say it isn't the kids, it has to be the coaching since the kids change, but the problems persist over the years.

We had multiple chances in the early 2000's to get to the Dome, but blew it. Those were some quality teams too.

You had to have unbelievable defenses to shut Evangel down the way you did.
