I can't believe Don Larsen outlived him. Prayers to everyone. He was a stud on the mound.

I remember my Reds making the playoffs for the first time in a while back in 2010. I was so excited. Roy Halladay pitched a no hitter against us the first game and shattered any excitement I had.

RIP.

Crazy, dude was absolutely dominant for so long and just left the game not so long ago. Sad to see anyone's life cut shorter like that

One of my favorite pitchers I've ever seen in the past 20 years. This news breaks my heart. Prayers to him and his family. RIP.

Roy Halladay had five seasons with at least 200 strikeouts and 40 or fewer walks. No other pitchers in baseball history has more than three.

In just over a year, we lost Jose Fernandez, Yordano Ventura, and Roy Halladay to a boat, a car, and a plane. Just too much grief to really process it. Sad day for baseball. It is a tremendously sad day.

HOF? He'll be eligible in 2019. Next season will be his 5th and final season of retirement before being eligible.

ETA: 2 cy youngs, 8 all stars, 203 wins.
