A&M had the blueprint on him even in his Heisman year just like LSU had the blueprint on JFF.

Will be interesting to see if either are able to adapt their game to the pro level, or indeed they will flame out in short order.

400+ yards passing and 3 TDs isn't a blue print on him. We just had a really shitty defense that season.

Knocking him around till he's black and blue is. That's what I was referring to.

Also, TAMU had a shitty defense last year as well.

Finally, good luck to Baylor this year one of my little sisters just moved into her dorm there and starts this fall.

It's not that I want to see RGIII fail. Since day one, this guy has been shoved in our face by sports media and overhyped him so much. His career has been on a fast decline.

i love the blame the media strategy people go with…you do realize you chose to pay attention to the media "overhype" rather than ignore it?

This. The media doesn't really care about the athletes themselves. They're just after whomever will generate more reaction/clicks/views.

So is she going to kill a teammate or going to get her iPhone repair/theology degree?

Why do people think Cousins is good? RGIII is the best qb in Washington.

Do the announcers still refer to him as "Robert Griffin the Third" on every damn play? I got tired of hearing his whole freaking name in college and his rookie year.

Griffin or even RG3 would have been just fine.

Cousins dominate 2nd/3rd team defenses...

No one wants to mention his stats against first team defenses.

First of all, terrible argument, as I have not said anything on RG3 yet.

To be honest, I believe RG3 will not be able to maintain his health long enough to become a top tier QB. He has the skills, but he refuses to slide and is a victim of his own athletic prowess. I think once his elite athleticism becomes just really really good athleticism, he will not be able to hold down a starting QB position.

I think he hates thirds.

I, for one, am offended.

I understand disliking his cockiness but because he's called the third? It's his name right?
