No wonder lester hasn't given up any runs, he gets the 25 inch wide plate while everyone else uses the 17.

No. No he isn't. The ump was fooled by that pitch. It was well thrown by Lester but it was not a strike and the ump has not been calling that both ways. Wainwright isn't left handed and doesn't throw a cutter. That ball started at Carpenter's knees and still finished well inside the plate. That was a horrible strike call. Period.

He called one a strike similar to that one earlier in the AB but I wasn't as far off the plate as that one
