UCLA/USC on the other hand would be top 3 on that list. It's crazy how one game can capture the attention of a city of 5 million.

Yeah, so hot that they couldn't even fill the Rose Bowl for this game this year in an area of 15 million people. Gimme a break. You had a few thousand film star wannabes holding pompoms.

The Ohio State/Michigan game is trying to hang on from the days where the Big 10 was football.

The SEC is football now and Alabama/Auburn is the best rivalry.

People can argue and hang on to the past all they want but that's just the way it is.

ASU/Arizona is a highly underrated rivalry. The players and fans/alumni absolutely HATE each other. Stanford/UCLA is not a rivalry.

Historically, OU-Nebraska was the biggest late season game.

Big 12 should've never changed that rivalry. It hurt Nebraska a lot more than OU. That was the Huskers big national stage for many years. Other than that game we just read about them pounding everyone 83-0 every week.

Certainly more people than some of those "rivalries" you posted. Of course, you know nothing about the history or the constant border battle between Wisconsin and Minnesota, so why should I be surprised?

A&M-LSU isn't even a real rivalry.

A&M-Texas is a real rivalry, but both sides are too scared to play each other.

That's not irrelevance. That's you being geographically retarded.

I have said this time and time again....The No-Name Game (Clemson vs. South Carolina) is one of the most fierce and hated rivalries in the United States that no one knows about. A gigantic portion of that is because the two schools are historically bad at football.

These two universities absolutely hate each other. It's a clash of Upstate South Carolina and Columbia and the Low Country. It's a clash of culture and tradition.

This rivalry, unlike many others, has deep political routes with the state of South Carolina. It's pure hatred. It's a dirty, dirty rivalry filled with fights, cheap shots, punching, kicking, pushing, shoving, and of course...taunting. We like it that way.

And of course....

When it comes to them? frick them!

I'm sure you know that the context of that photo is that he was defending his teammate who was jumped by a pack of Wolverines after a kickoff return.

ND/USC
Michigan/Ohio State
Auburn/Alabama
Florida/Florida $tate
SCar/Clemson
Washington/Wa State
Arizona/Arizona State
Georgia/Ga Tech
Virginia/Va Tech
Ole Miss/Miss State
Oregon/Oregon State
UNC/NCState
Kentucky/Louisville
LSU/A&M
TCU/Texas
Stanford/UCLA
Duke/WF

Obviously I'm biased, but I'd put SC vs. ND in the top 3 or 4 even if I were neutral. Also obviously, not on this season's merit, but based on great games past and chance of same in the future. Also gave preference to actual rivalries with some history vice newfangled match ups.
