So much irony here.

Yep.. and for that they will suffer in the public eye. Don't feel bad for them, all those tech companies are paying $$$$ for those empty seats.

Yet again someone posts a pic of the "awful Rams attendance" but the pic is way before the game starts...

Based on the cheerleaders lining up for the team to run through, it doesn't appear to be "way before the game". Of course, in California way before the game is start of the second quarter.

ETA to add picture from the game itself. Maybe we can get a 3rd team in LA at some point.

Article headline:

Saturday’s Texas-USC had more in attendance than Sunday’s Rams and Chargers games. Combined.
“Los Angeles is an NFL town!” - the 30 people who bought tickets.

Only game I ever remember Everett having a huge game in primetime was vs the Saints, when Flipper set the record.

They played one of the greatest MNF games ever. The Rams had a huge lead, and then (if I remember correctly) Montana hit John Taylor for 2 90 yard touchdown passes in the 2nd half and came back and won.

Also, you can see the color guard is already set up. The game likely started 10 minutes after the picture was taken.

In Candlestick, right? But did Everett go off that night? I remember the comeback, but just do not remember Everett having a huge game.

The best San Fran game I can recall on MNF was the Giants when Bavaro took like 4 guys for about 10 yards. It was just a good hard hitting game that was fun to watch.

The best MNF game was the Chiefs Broncos in 92/93?

Is that really from an NFL regular season game?

It looks like that's from the first game of the season against Carolina. That game ended 23-3. So, to be fair, that picture could have been taken in the 4th quarter. I can't make out the score.

Apparently it was taken just after halftime.

Correct. The heat index was near 100 degrees and Levi Stadium has really nice concourses full of room, seating, bars, tvs, etc.

If the game was sold out those must have been some crowded concourses, what with 60,000 people in them.

It was, fans were posting pictures of the crowds. They were literally sitting on stairs drinking in the shade and watching the game on tvs.
