More people than at a Warriors game

Less than the Emmys

Niners played pretty well against Seattle, hopefully they can keep improving

I'm watching. I want to see the Wade Phillips D decapitate the QB, and I want to see if Goff can be competent bordering on good 3 weeks in a row.

This could be a GREAT opportunity for some good ole N. Cal/S.Cal Hispanic gang fighting on a Thursday night.

A better question might be how many fights do we see in the stands? Also, how many total arrests occur? Our California posters will have to chime in, but maybe the game being in San Jose will temper things a bit as opposed to if it were at Candlestick. Once they play in the Coliseum later this year all bets are off!

I'm watching because if Jared Goff can't beat the 9'ers he is officially a bust

My guess would be $25K will be there.

You could probably stream the game on your phone. The TV experience for an NFL game is great these days.

Yet again someone posts a pic of the "awful Rams attendance" but the pic is way before the game starts...

Considering the abortion that is the 49ers, coupled with this game starting at 530 PST, which is right in the middle of traffic, I say 30K.

As far as rating, this is TNF. So one team will suck so horridly bad that it will ruin the game. I say a few million watch only because they have Gurley or Hyde on their fantasy teams (me).

So is the Color Rush all gold for Rams and All black for the Niners tonight?

Life time 49er fan here. Levi Stadium is horrible.

1. Its a sauna during day games. Santa Clara is typically 10-15 degrees warmer than Candlestick Park. Almost no wind.

2. Its an hour away from SF.

3. The 49ers sold pretty much every seat between the 30s to corporations while only offering previous generational ticket holders the "opportunity" to purchase a $5oK PSL before even buying the tickets.

4. The product sucks (fourth head coach in four years), but is improving.

5. Thursday night games usually have lower attendance everywhere.

So much irony here.

PS - I'm a 9er fan as well.

They're really sabotaging themselves here not pairing them up with the Cardinals or Seahawks instead, although they don't look much better this year. I think they're banking on "tradition" back to the Eric Dickerson or Jim Everett vs. Joe Montana days to pull in eyeballs. Problem is, more people are more likely to remember Kellen Clemens vs. Blaine Gabbert matchups instead.

Jim Everett

Only game I ever remember Everett having a huge game in primetime was vs the Saints, when Flipper set the record.

Usually I just remember the 49'ers Defense making the Rams offense look average. The worst beatdown I recall was the Thursday game in StL in Busch. Norton did the heavy bag routine on the post pad once in San Fran also vs them.
