don't remember exactly (it was 10 years ago) but their shot special was the "broken down golf cart." it was a hole in the wall. let me see if i can look it up. it wasn't downtown nor the strip. does "the bulldog" sound familiar?

Their little crew *managers/bartenders* have a little cabal that go to the Cajun baseball games and wear LSWho/Phuq LSU/"If you don't support the Cajuns move to Baton Rouge" apparel/ and heckle LITTLE kids who show up w/ LSU hats on. It's pretty funny seeing they aren't playing against LSU when this happens regularly.

that is just sad. I dated a ULL grad who told me that she used to heckle anyone wearing LSU gear to school. when i explained to her how pathetic that was she said "how would you like it if I wore a ULL cap to LSU?" I said no one would notice because it's not a real school.

Laff has an inferiority complex when it comes to BR -- I first experienced this as a teenager in the '80s. I see it hasn't changed.
Although Laff is actually nicer in some ways than BR -- I can't say which ways or I might get banned...

I have been to the USM campus recently and it was much nicer than anything in Lafayette. What criteria are you using, proximity to bars?

I got in an arguement with a ULL chick who came up to me in Laffy and cussed me out for wearing an LSU hat. Apparently LSU people are all stuck up pricks who hold poor little OHLALA down.
