Yikes, I was happy he looked like he was back for a while last year. I was bummed he never really worked out in Detroit. One rumor I heard around here from a few people was Avisail Garcia (I think) was banging his ol lady and Cabrera got physical with Garcia over it, so they had to move Garcia.

Wikipedia says 319 for Cecil and 318 for Prince but it could be wrong. It's through late June so he may have hit one after I'm guessing?

Yup, MLB has 319 for Prince as well. Wild

The Rangers continue to display their keen eye for long-term talent. Wasn't Fielder a $200mil/10 yr type of contract?

The Rangers owe Fielder $72 million for the 2017-20 seasons. If he not retiring and forfeiting the money, and instead simply announcing he will physically be unable to play, it is believed (based on Evan Grant's previous reporting) that the Rangers would receive approximately $36 million from insuranc

That's great news for the Rangers if they are off the hook for the rest of his salary.

Yup, was going to come here and say that the Rangers have insurance on his deal so this isn't all bad.

All of the leagues with guaranteed contracts have insurance coverage for top contracts. Each league has different rules and number of contracts covered.

Also each different in when $ from insurance kicks in, how many days on IR till it kicks in.
