I'm really not sure if I believe that Wilt scored 100 points in a game 
And I DEFINITELY do not believe that Mickey Mantle hit a 655 foot home run.
I believe that many of the larger-than-life stories made in the days before television are just a bunch of bullshite made up by PR hacks.

The NFL should get rid of the NFC and AFC, go to 4 divisions and not play the same team twice in a year.

I'm not sure how this is an unpopular opinion. Most sports fans in America believe this to be true. A vast amount of people don't watch one regular season college basketball game but will then skip work Thursday and Friday to watch the tournament

I like MMA better than football.
I hate soccer. The more I watch it, the less tolerant I am of it. In no way is it "beautiful".
I really like Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick.
There is no doubt in my mind that LSU would have smashed USC back in 2003. (Not a popular opinion outside of Louisiana)

It's football without field position battle. I think NFL overtime is much more in keeping with the game.
CFB OT is like soccer penalty kicks without the extra period. It cheapens the game eliminating field position from the strategy. It strictly becomes a tactical game without strategorie to quote a president.

I like the DH
Lebron is a top 5 player at best. Nothing whatsoever can make him the GOAT in my mind. He could win the next 7 finals and my opinion wouldn't change. His team hopping, GM attempts, bitching, etc will never let him be goat. He's a much better human being than MJ but half the player.
I think who wins the all star game should get home field advantage in the finals of every sport.
I like the AC of indoor arenas but it takes away from the spirit of the game in football and baseball.
Basketball reffing is a joke. If I were a ref I'd be murdered by the fans after one period of calling 50 walks.
Golf is only worth sleeping through on a Sunday afternoon.
I like PEDs in baseball.

The overpopulation of 'journalists' and the almighty shitshow that is ESPN has damn near ruined the most important thing about sports and football - the Xs & Os - nobody GAF what athletes are twittering about, I just want more coverage of the shite that actually matters
