John Olerude doesn't disagree because he wore the skulls in field and wore flaps at bat.

He had brain surgery at Wazzu which is why he wore skulls

Steve Young was recruited by North Carolina to run their wishbone offense at the time because he ran it in high school and only completed 41% of his throws.

At BYU, he set the NCAA single-season record with a 71.3% pass completion percentage.

Steve Young was slated to play the role of Mary's secret love (Favre) in There's Something About Mary.

He turned it down for Mormon reasons.

In 1962, Cleveland Indians catcher Henry Chiti was acquired by the expansion New York Mets for a "player to be named later."

After dismal play, he was sent back to the Indians as "the player to be named later" - making him the first player in MLB history to be traded for himself.

Herschel Walker was the first pro football player to score a 90+ yard touchdown by rush, reception, and kick return in the same season.

And I'm not sure if this one is still good (due to people possibly breaking it in recent years) but it was as of several years ago...Herschel has the most all purpose yards in pro football history, if you take into account his time as a professional in the USFL plus NFL.

Probably known by most on here, but still interesting:

Ronald "Slim" Williams, co-founder of Cash Money Records, is the father of Ben Jarvis Green Ellis.
