Honestly, football players of this caliber are few and far between. While they may look physically ready, the disparity between the NFL and HS football is much greater than the NBA and MLB with their respective HS sports.

correct....

but the one on the list that was my team mate - was very different from everyone else.. from the 10th grade on... and he worked harder...

and that's why I listed my misses too...

which honestly doesn't make that much sense to me. i understand football is all about bigger faster stronger, but you would think between BFS and the skills required, basketball would be similar.

That's because he had to learn the safety position when he got to college. In high school he was a running back, but he wanted to play safety in college. He could've done either in college and the pros.
