The link is right there with an all time great Shaq telling you Lebron aint got what Kobe has. Now even though Shaq said it in a typical goofy Shaq way, doesn't take away the substance.

It is all in that link.

By the way, Kobe was considered the best in the league by a lot of people for a good stretch of years.

I'm not saying he's not great, but it seems like he's reached this Chuck Norris type status.
It's deserved.

Losing three finals when you are supposed to be the Basketball Gods gift to mortals says a lot.
He won 2. So sometimes he chokes and is scared and sometimes he isn't? Yea, makes sense.

Mourning went on to clarify his statement by citing James’s physical prowess and athleticism compared to Jordan’s as the reason for the advantage,

Something we discussed was James' better athleticism. But at anybody that thinks James is better than Jordan, including Scottie.

1st time I've ever seen this request. The line ALWAYS shifts for Lebron, more than any athlete I've ever seen.

When Josh Smith retires, I'm going to assume you'll annoint him up there with Scottie Pippen cause he's gonna have some gaudy TOTALS!!!

Ahh, so superstars opinions are only valid when they agree with you? Man that makes it tough for me

Lebron is clearly superior in every other aspect of the game.

Except winning
MJ isn't superiot to Bill Russell at winning, doesn't stop most everyone realizing the obvious, that MJ was better. Same thing with Lebron/Kobe, it's obivious who is the better player.

You laughed at Shaq, I'm laughing at Scottie.

I'll give you that one.

Now find me fourteen more big time basketball people saying Lebron is better, with at least three highly respectable, like West, Payton, and Boehiem, and we can call it a draw

Some just need to admit MJ dominated at a time when the league was at its best.

I hate this shite. So damn wrong and stupid. Because Lebron is nice he doesnt have drive? Does one have to be an a-hole and in your face to have drive? Tim Duncan is 117 years old and still playing at an elite level. His drive is through the roof but nobody talks about it because he is soft spoken and collects butterflies
Wait, Tim Duncan collects butteflies?

But yea, everyone talking like they're so sure of all these players' and their "drive", how do you measure drive?

You could probably easily make the argument that some of the guys with the most drive are the guys not skilled enough or big enough and sit at the end of the bench and are fighting for a job and a good paycheck. Those dudes, I'm certain, have been some of the hardest working dudes in the NBA, but "drive" only gets assigned to guys who are good.

Never said Lebron didn't have drive, but you can't tell me it's up to the level of Kobe. If you think that than you have no idea what you're talking about.
So you know what you're talking about based on their drive based on what? Ever seen them practice or any of their offseason routines? Or you're just basing it off of stuff you've heard and because you heard it you know what you're talking about?

Basing it off the sixteen NBA players and superstars that said Kobe works harder than any player they have ever seen.

and even wanting to take the game winning shot.
So having drive clouds your judgment and makes you simply want to take the shot and that's more important than making hte correct basketball play?

So, in your opinion, the "drive" to take the shot is more important and proves a player is more driven than another guy who makes the calculated, higher percentage/more efficient play?

That's how drive is measure?
