Anders and Karl Malone had some great games against each other in HS. They were both on the same AAU team as Joe Dumars too.

I liked that aspect of it too. Loved seeing the highlights of those bad mofos dunking all over everybody. It's a shame the coach tightened up so hard at the end of the NC State game. Those guys deserved a title. That team had a great run though.

That game against Louisville must have set a record for dunks per minute. The airspace was crowded that night.

Watched most of it last night. My 1st memories of college basketball were LSU and the Georgetown teams with Ewing. I don't quite remember those Phi Slamma Jamma teams but have heard a lot about them over the years.
I didn't know anything about the Benny Anders guy or his story. Also kind of crazy that those teams were only a few years beyond the dunk being illegal in college basketball.

Anyone also believe that Drex and Hakeem got redemption with Houston? I kind of do. Falling short so many times only to win back to back NBA titles was awesome as a Houston fan.
