so far so good, hard to remember a time that college basketball wasn't played the way it is now.

There was nothing better to showing up to game early just to watch them dunk. Michaux just tried to hurt people, Benny Anders could just jump. Then in the games they would do it again.

Drexler's dunk in KC vs Memphis St was probably the hardest dunk I ever saw.

I'm recording a little behind but it's been good so far

If UH ever got a coach and staff with an in to the AAU scene in Houston they could be a force again for sure. High potential job in CBB IMO

My household way back when was shocked and pissed off when NC State made that bucket. I have strong childhood memories of despising the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jim Valvano.

I liked how they wore different numbers on the road than home and not all of them had last names on jersey

Guy Lewis was lucky he wasn't tossed

I thought it was the FF vs Georgetown he did that.

Shane, Coog high has the right coach there right now in Sampson if he doesn't do something stupid. But they always seem to get in their own way in FB and MBB.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard Frank Fallon say "Akeem Abdul Olajuwon" on the Raycom broadcast, I'd be well off.

I seem to remember a public address announcer, either at Hofheinz or even the Summit with the Rockets, who would introduce him with his full name in an elongated way.

Lots of empty seats at Hofheinz. A shame.

Seems like they had a point guard who played for them for about six years... was that Anders? (I am not watching this). (Edit: Thinking about Alvin Franklin or Micheaux)

I loved Raycom games then

You'd get Coog High or the Hogs first then you'd get Tech or TCU second

Nothing was as much fun to see Killer go nuts and Gerald Meyers go even crazier after a clinic in the first game.

I think people forget they went to the Final 4 three straight years.

They credit Georgetown for going 3 of 4 though in same span.
