re: Peyton Manning will play next season

I'm happy he's playing. Makes for good drama. How much of a shite would you give if Denver had some new joe as a starter? Not much. But now, we'll all follow Denver because Peyton is the QB.
Peyton should play the first ten or eleven games of the season, get the team in the playoffs, then suddenly develop bad case of the "flu." Sit out two-three games. Come into the playoffs refreshed.

Tell your thoughts of Tom Brady's first game of the season against the Miami Dolphins. Awful and dreadful, right?
Yes. Was that supposed to be a boom?
Best part of it is that Manning played even worse than that against the colts

they need to take it slow at the beginning then throw more at the end.

Good.
The goat needs another Super Bowl ring.

There are no individual accomplishments that put Brady ahead of Manning. Only TEAM accomplishments.facts and shite

No, it wasn't supposed to be a boom. Yes, I disagree with you here again, but at least you are persistent.
Tom Brady: 29/56, 249 yards, 51.8%, 1 touchdown, 69.7 quarterback rating
Peyton Manning: 26/46, 211 yards, 56.5%, 1 touchdown, 75.5 quarterback
From gathering these stats, I have no clue how you can say one had a better game than the other. And neither player had a DREADFUL or AWFUL game.

That's like saying a general never wins a battle because it's an army accomplishment.

Please tell me you aren't comparing Tom Brady to a General.
Posted on 2/14/15 at 12:35 pm to RollTide1987
Thats the dumbest analogy on earth. A general directs every aspect of his troops movements. Does Tom Brady play defense or special teams?
Brady's first 3 superbowl wins the patriots defenses were ranked 1,1, and 2 in the entire nfl.

Right im the idiot because Brady is propped up by team accomplishments.
Brady wont catch Manning in mvps, tds, passing yards,or career qb rating.
Again no individual accomplishments put Brady above Manning.

You have to realize youre dealing with dumbasses that put wins and losses in Brady's corner. Wins and losses are TEAM accomplishments. If you want to say Brady is more clutch, then fine. But its ignorant to say a qb whose season averages are lower in tds, passing yards, and qb rating is a better qb.

It might be damn near the most retarded analogy I've seen on Tigerdroppings.

Yep. Me again with facts.
Manning has more mvps.
Manning's season averages are higher in tds, completion%, passing yards and qb rating.
Nothing puts Brady ahead of Manning except TEAM accomplishments. Even in the playoffs, Brady just now eclipsed Manning in playoff qb rating.

But that doesn't mean he's the better QB. It might mean he's the better passer (which he was in his prime). But passing is only part of the position. A big part, obviously, but not the only part. What makes Brady the better overall QB is that he is willing to do anything to win.
Brady isn't afraid to go into the huddle, look at his scrub of a RB, and tell him that he is going to hand it off to him 30 times tonight. He also isn't afraid to go into a huddle the next week, look at his 5'9" caucasian wide receivers, and tell them that he is going to throw 50 combined passes to them. The man does what it takes to win football games. Whereas you have Manning who just wants to throw it all over the field, even if that game plan is a detriment to the team.
Manning is concerned about stats. Brady wants to win Super Bowls.
