Donnie is awesome and so is the Podfathers podcast. I'm a big fan of Uncle Chaps.

Big Cat, PFT, and KFC are the only reasons for Barstool success. If them three left Barstool would struggle to survive. Clay Travis told Portnoy that only like 5 people on Barstool have any value and Travis is completely right about it. I eventually expect Big Cat and PFT both leave Barstool for either TV or maybe their own radio show. I've never felt that PFT is part of Barstool. He doesn't seem to be all buddy buddy compared to most people at Barstool are.

Agreed. He's Pardon My Take but not Barstool, if that makes sense. I just don't see him as a Barstool guy even though he's on Barstool.

I do believe that PMT will get too big for Podcast/Barstool.

They allow them to do whatever they want and they have big money backing them in Peter Chernin.

I think y'all underestimate how big PMT already is. An article came out yesterday saying they get 750k-1 million listeners per episodes.

They do 6 ad reads a show, those ad reads are usually paid out .05 per listener from what I have read. So you're looking at 112k in ad revenue per episode on the lower end of the spectrum and 150k on a big time episode on that rate.

To give a perspective to that listener number, PTI averages 1 million viewers an episode. PMT is already big time

There was already blow up between Big Cat and Portnoy because he thought PMT was branching away from Barstool simply because they have their own Twitter account.

Portnoy is very jealous of PMT and it's success. He gives them free reign to do what they want but he hates that he doesn't get any credit for it

He had an entire monologue recently during the Rhianna drama, about how it pisses him off that everyone acts like PMT isnt PC and people act like there would be PMT without him and a bunch of shite.

Yeah. That's kind of what I mean. There will come a point where PMT will be so big that they will want more money, more power, etc.

Best thing about PMT is they realize when a bit gets stale and they pivot

Yeah, but I miss Spoilers though. So random and always made me laugh

At the tail end of grit week they flat out said, they don't do any of this shite for money, they really just love doing it. I don't see them leaving for money or control because they have both of those things already.

They are much liklier to get a radio/TV show if they are affiliated with barstool because barstool is owned by a movie/tv producer now.

Yeah, I really didn't like that interview. I love Big Cat, but PFT is just on another level during their interviews.

I don't watch hockey at all, and I thought the interview with the Penguins guys was way better. The Wright interview just kept going in circles. Also, the fact that it all comes back to Twitter arguments makes it into some inside scuffle that is hard to follow. Maybe it didn't help that I had no idea who this Wright guy was. Having said that, then it may be on Big Cat to do a better job of explaining this argument to the listeners.

That was amazing. I knew it was gonna be good when Hank said "that was fun" during the intro when Big Cat was announcing the guest, but I didn't think it would be as awesome as it turned out. Just a big J doing big J things.
