game was also streaming on amazon, correct? I wonder what those numbers looked like

Not sure yet. The opener last year streamed for free on Twitter, FWIW.

Didn't realize until yesterday that Amazon had paid to simulcast the Thursday night games. $50mil for 10 games.

Which is nuts, because Twitter got 10 games for $10MM last year.

Yes it is the SAD Game of the Week

If you notice in the Announce Team Thread I officially put the Molly on it.

Games of interest:
10:30 PM 5 USC @ 16 Washington State ESPN Adam Amin, Dusty Dvoracek SAD Game of the Week

I just want to know what kind of food they will roll out in the 3rd or 4th quarter to make me hungry and torture Molly with...

The idiot being asked a question by Molly will be fantastic and a rule maybe.

Definitely has to be a fan of the SAD....last year he was doing a promo for the Cal-Oregon game, which was going to be on the next night on ESPN and said "It's the Pac-12 after dark, so you know it's going to be weird"

Adam Amin gets it.

No one is fully prepared for tonight’s SAD.

Nobody is ever remotely prepared for SAD. The NFL could not even derail SAD. Case in point...
ESPN, cant nuke it
Fox, does not even try to stop it
ABC, just abandons the idea of SAD

Only we at TD have embraced it and made it to the living legend it is.

Ric Flair, Eddie Murphy, Pat Summerall, Paul Bunyan, John Henry, Obama, Trump, and the Beatles aint got shite on SAD

I flipped over after Texas/Iowa St. Is there no way to tabulate how many watched on Amazon? I keep forgetting what channel the Thursday night games are since there's no consistency. One week the game will be on NFL Network only. Then on CBS the next. Then back to NFL Network only the next. Then NBC later in the season. I know there is always a college game on ESPN/ESPN2 every Thursday or Friday night.

Game was supposed to start back at 8:31 and didn't start back until 9.

Why would anyone in EST continue to watch?

If people didn't turn it off then, they did at halftime

Dont they do the ratings grab early in the game?

Serious question I am uncertain

I get up at 5, so yeah. I waited until about 8:40 and when they said they would start around 9:00, I said "screw it," took a shower, and got ready for bed.

In all honesty, I considered turning it off after the Bears' first offensive play, and I would have if I didn't like watching the Packers.

Ratings for every returning TV series declined 10-50 percent last night. Oof.

I have been getting force-fed NBC Thursday Night comedy lineup on Hulu this week, and can you blame them? Good God, that lineup did nothing for me. I didn't like "Will & Grace" the first time. Now I gotta see those miserable little bitches 20 years older?

The anti-NFL crowd creams in their pants every time the ratings are released.

And with the way ratings have been recently, it's been like:

ratings are always quoted on the highs of the 3 hours. So that it can take into account delays, blowouts, controversy

So even at its high, it was still down 13%
