They'd probably be towards the top of the list to go after a guy like this.

Man, frick that guy.
What a sorry arse shitheads.

I wouldn't want him in my locker room. How hard do you think he is going to play once he gets a contract? A: he won't. Hell check out just like he's doing now

He saw that OU might match up with LSU in the Sugar, and after watching Fournette and Guice pounding Arky's D this weekend, he said, "I'll pass"...

Coaches quit all time to go to better jobs. Where's their loyalty? Bobby Petrino, Todd Graham. Hell AUB flew a secret flight to try to get petrino. Its a business. OU isn't winning anything and their defense is garbage

They don't usually quit while the season is still going on, but every once in a while they do (like Petrino did to the Falcons - and he was indeed a quitter).

I think it's a smart business decision. I'm surprised more guys don't protect their health. NFL teams have enough film on him and his team will not be in the top 4. I wouldn't want to risk losing my knee for an irrelevant bowl.

The only way I'd be okay with this is if he was injured and out for the season. Leaving to get head start on rehab to prepare for NFL Draft is much less of an issue IMO

This guy wasn't injured as far as I know so pretty much a dick move

I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often, and it likely will if he is successful.

All it takes for this to become a trend is when a superstar sophomore sits out a year to not get hurt.

I can't blame a kid for doing what he thinks is best for him. Just like I can't blame a school or a professional team for moving away from that kid for the same exact reason.

Malik McDowell at Michigan State appears to be doing the same thing, it just hasn't been announced publicly.

Holy shite you are all pathetic. He hasn't played since October 1st. LINK

He's been in concussion protocol for a month. LINK

Concussions have caused players to quit football altogether. He wants a shot at NFL/life changing money. What is wrong with you people.

it's a smart move on his part. he's concussion prone and soft as a baby's arse. good chance he would pick up an injury somewhere in these last three games.

i'm not going to run a kid down for making a decision to preserve his health and a take what he perceives to be the best route forward for him and his family.

NFL scouts will judge this action how they want and i'm sure is fully aware of that.
