Amazing how this somehow matters less than Baylor losing to West Virginia.
If TCU and Baylor had not played head-to-head, then the argument of WVU beat Baylor, TCU beat WVU is very meaningful.

But Baylor BEAT TCU. It's a fact.

SOS is a metric to be taken with a grain of salt. It doesn't matter that the shitty teams of Ohio state's schedule are a little better than the one's on tcu's schedule. It's the tough teams of the schedule that count.
ummmm, and OSU played more "tough teams" huh?

Right. You do realize that Wiscy was a 4 point fav and has the 2nd best D in the nation? But I did forget about the Cyclones...what a juggernaut

TCU stays in.
But I saw the team that would be the Big 12 champion if the conference had a tiebreaker beat them earlier this season. After listening to a lot of people today I'm starting to question whether or not that happened but I swear I saw that happen earlier this year. I just know I did.

TCU is also the only team with only one win over a Top 25 team.

sure, but perhaps the Big Ten was just completely overrated and Wisconsin just wasn't that good. I mean, what was the Big Ten's record this season against the OOC Power 5 teams? Anyone have that handy?

For me, I can't tell you who should be in the playoff between Baylor and Ohio State and, if asked, I revert back to my argument that the current playoff system is stupid. So I don't have an answer for Ohio State/Baylor. But the fact that TCU is even in the conversation is just nuts to me.

This see to be the committees line of thinking as well.

I agree. The entire schedule and season should matter.

Baylor is the Big 12's Representative Conference Champion according to their own tie breaker so I think TCU should be left out of discussions.

My opinion has always been let the old BCS computers rank the conference champions and take the top four for a playoff. In that process put the conference on the hook for deciding their conference champion for the process. I think it should be Baylor considered in this case.

They killed two big ten teams that were somewhat over rated and they still have the worst loss.

The others destroyed teams as well. Wisconsin was really not that good. Shut down the run and even LSU beat them :D

TCU's only quality win came against a 3 loss team that will drop out of the Top 10 after this week.

They don't deserve the playoffs, unless we want to see them shite the bed again.

the 2-10 cyclones bro!!!!

Honestly, I think the committee will do the right thing,

Bama
FSU
Oregon(hard not to drop them to 3 after FSU completes 2nd undefeated season and CC victory )
tOSU
Baylor
TCU(since the 2 finished equally, and Baylor won head to head)

This is my top 6 and I think the committee will have similar views now that the body of work is complete.

Minnesota was in the top 25 when they played the Gophers. Minnesota is also currently #25 in the coach's poll. The game was played in cold snowy weather at Minnesota and the week after their big game against Mich. St. I'd say it was a quality win.

That makes sense.

For me, if TCU was the 3rd best team yesterday, then they are the 3rd best treat today. Nothing that happened today should change that.

That's why i said the committee fricked up ranking TCU at 3. How can you put FSU, who absolutely has to be in, ahead of them after today? And that fricks Ohio St and and Baylor, because they can't take FSUs spot.
