I wonder how much of a hand he played in flipping those Maryland guys.

Corey Smith supposedly got his sixth year.

There needs to be some attrition.

How many more do we have space for? 2? 3? Next years class looks even more ridiculous and the numbers are going to be very tight from what I see.

Quality not quantity in 2017.

Maybe max 3 more spots depending who they are. There are rumblings of several players that will go on hardship potentially being announced on signing day at Urban's Presser.

Not impressed Kosmo. Congrats on that second place finish this year. I see LSU and the Buckeyes facing off in the playoffs soon.

Ohio State hired former LSU OC/OL coach Greg Studrawa to be OL coach.

He did a good job for us, overall. He took over an absolute mess from the previous OL coach, Stacey Searles, and put together some of the best offensive lines in school history between 2010 and 2013. That said, he missed on some must-get in-state recruits like Greg Robinson (Auburn) and Cameron Robinson (Alabama). Missing those guys really hurt us, IMO, and contributed to the perception that Stud couldn't recruit (that's not entirely true, he got guys like La'el Collins, Trai Turner, Ethan Pocic, and Vadal Alexander).

He got a battlefield promotion to offensive coordinator in 2011 and did a surprisingly good job considering our lack of talent at the QB position. But when he couldn't follow up his performance in 2012 we demoted him back to OL coach. IMO the fact that his promotion didn't stick is the primary reason he left LSU after 2013.

That could be. Then again, it would require good consistent play from the quarterback position for LSU.

Ohio State recruiting under Urban Meyer.

247 Composite

2012 - #5 class
2013 - #2 class
2014 - #3 class
2015 - #7 class
2016 - #2 class (currently)
2017 - #1 class (currently)

I think we'll be just fine.

Not many buckeye fans and insiders think we really have a chance.

The only intriguing thing is his relationship with Dewayne Haskins.

Four Star JuCo Of Malcolm Prigeon and 3 star DB Malik Harrison are 24 and 25.

This will close out the class of 2016. And it's a great one. Top 3 in the country and fills every need.

Great class for sure.

Now let's see them work some magic and figure out how to get 20-22 in the 2017 class.

That's the best recruiting news of the day.

What is his story? He must have been injured every year to get a sixth year.
