If tiger didn't aggravate the same injury he had surgery for and really just jarred his back and was having spasms, he could get treatment and be ready to go this week. If I had to bet on it, I would bet on him playing or trying to.

He only needs to play if he's confident he won't have to withdraw, otherwise he's just pissing everyone else off

I don't think Tiger wins, but he's within striking distance come Sunday. He got a good indication of what he can and cannot do last weekend. He's not "back", but his showing will be strong.

He said numerous times his short game was going to be top notch. I am not going to look but I bet his scrambling and putting are in the bottom 50 of the fields. His putting is pretty awful right now.
